Sorry for the delay on these, they've been sitting in a random folder on my cluttered laptop screen hidden from civilization. Check them out. R.I.P. Fat Beats.
I recently caught up with Arsonists' front man Q Unique at one of the final in-store events at Fat Beats NY (R.I.P.) for a quick interview, and the emcee had quite a bit to say. In this two-part interview the emcee speaks about everything from the direction and style of his latest album, Between Heaven and Hell, his musical transformations and growth, keeping featured artists within his family, music projects outside of hip hop, reuniting with his group at Fat Beats, and more.
His latest solo album, Between Heaven And Hell, will be in stores tomorrow. Check the single, "Crack Era," below.
First, the Cop Shop closed, now Fat Beats is closing its New York and Los Angeles locations. Although this is a sad time for hip hop, the store will host in-store appearances from your favorite artists all week. Check the schedule below.
Not only is Eternia an incredible emcee ("female" is not required before "emcee" because she's better than all of you regardless of gender), but she's an equally great person, so of course she's going to get love from this blog. Here's some BTS footage from Halftime Radio with some words from (the most underrated emcee ever?) Ras Kass (*looks for "Nature Of The Threat" on YouTube). Get ready, Eternia & Moss At Last will be in stores soon, tell a friend to tell a friend.
