Sneak Peak: J The S "Put My Cape On" Video Shoot Behind The Scenes

I had the privilege of getting to shoot behind the scenes at the J The S video shoot for "Put My Cape On" off his latest release, Wish You Were Here (and be in the video too, can't wait to watch myself 3,190,227 times when it drops). Here's just one photo from the shoot; video and tons of photos will be put up closer to the release of the video. The shoot, shot in two locations (Times Square Arts Center and a warehouse in Brooklyn) definitely was an awesome experience, complete with gorgeous (GORGEOUS!) women, great Mexican food, listening to "Put My Cape On" at least 64 times and a mandatory trip to Arby's on the way home (the roast beef and cheese sandwich was heavenly). Definitely check for more behind the scenes footage coming very soon.

Friends to the blog (and super-talented individuals) emcee J The S and video director Court Dunn collaborated on yet another video, this time for "Handcuff Sex" off of the emcee's latest album, Wish You Were Here. The video features the ever-beautiful porn star, Jayla Starr (yet another reason to watch the video). Hey, since we're all friends, anyone want to pass Ms. Starr's phone number my way? (*hears "NO!" emphatically screamed from a distance*)...hey, it was worth a shot...

Three-quarters of the slaughter took the S.O.B.’s stage on the anniversary of iconic Brooklyn emcee Notorious BIG’s passing. Royce Da 5’9”, Crooked I and Joe Budden appeased a packed crowd of avid, rowdy fans, many of which were donned in the ever-popular Slaughterhouse t-shirts designed by Sneaktip Clothing. West coast veteran Crooked I was the first Slaughterhouse emcee to take the stage, along with members of the California collective, Horse Shoe Gang. During his set, the Long Beach native performed, while blindfolded, “Tequila, Vodka, Henny” an ode to alcohol over the Lloyd Banks and Juelz Santana instrumental, “Beamer, Benz, or Bentley.”...
