If you're not familiar, Kil Ripkin was featured on one of my favorite records of the past few years, "Thankful" from Supastition a.k.a. Kam Moye. The emcee is also a member of The Coalescence, of which Duck Down Records emcee and Coney Island native, Torae is also a member. Diabolic Album Release Party Friday April 9 At Club Karma

Long Island emcee Diabolic will be performing live at Club Karma in Patchogue this Friday celebrating the release of his debut album, Liar & a Thief. The album, which released this past Tuesday, features "I Don't Wanna Rhyme" and guest appearances from Ill Bill of La Coka Nostra/Non-Phixion, Canibus, Immortal Technique, Vinnie Paz of Jedi Mind Tricks, John Otto of Limp Bizkit and more.

Rakim Live At The Crazy Donkey Tonight!

The legendary emcee (and Long Island native) Rakim will be on the Crazy Donkey stage performing live tonight, courtesy of Terence Trend Inc. DJ Mickey Knox will be spinning all night long. Opening acts include Day Laborers, Ancient Tongue, Fly Guy Family, Conceptual Elements and Jay Godz. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Big Daddy Kane and Doug E Fresh Live At The Crazy Donkey

This thursday the Crazy Donkey will host an old-school hip hop event you don't want to miss as legendary emcee Big Daddy Kane and The World's Greatest Entertainer Doug E Fresh will hit the stage (brought to you by Terence Trend Inc.). Opening acts for the show are R-Kitech, Lethill Weapon, Jaysin, Fuse, Snottay Nose and Potty Mouth. WUSB 90.1's Kut Supreme will be on the one's-and-two's all night. Tickets are $25 and doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Paired with a hard-hitting instrumental produced by Australian born-and-raised producer M-Phazes, the self-proclaimed “legend in the making” provides a lyrical slap in the face of non-objective media outlets, fake tough-guy rappers and industry lames.
